Title: Medallion for Data Mesh: Exploring Workspace, Capacity, and Domain Design in Microsoft Fabric
Presenter: Sam Debruyn
Refhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/samueldebruyn/
Abstract: Designing a medallion architecture is more than just setting up a few Lakehouses and Data Warehouses. In this session, data architects and engineers learn how to design a medallion architecture with Fabric Workspaces, Capacities, and Domains. We’ll cover the segregation of responsibilities, granular access control, and how to pick and choose the right Capacities for every workload. By the end of this talk, you’ll be ready to design a scalable and secure data platform with Microsoft Fabric.

Title: Challenges in keeping up with the ever-changing Microsoft technology landscape and no we can't predict the winning numbers
Presenter: Lander De Stoop
Ref: https://www.linkedin.com/in/lander-de-stoop-36226920/
Abstract: The pace of change in technology has always been fast, also in data. But the last years, companies have less impact on when they adopt this change. Doing implementations of technologies that are not yet that "proven" brings up technical challenges, the frequency of new releases and hence new reference architectures keep companies in a constant state of migration and this volatility weighs on the IT-side and user-side of the organisation.
